“We are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, … against the spiritual hosts of wickedness… Pray at all times” The Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians: 6:11/12 & 18

At this critical time for our nation, we must be praying constantly, day and night, asking God for mercy on our nation, for forgiveness of the sins our nation has fallen into, especially for the evil of the killing of unborn babies at the rate of 20,000 souls per week, the worst effect of our culture's massive turning away from God. We must fight fearlessly against the evil and corruption that permeates both political parties, not accepting the evident fraud that has distorted the results of the 2020 election. We must ask God to help us - with a miracle to enable our nation to have the leadership that is needed to bring her back to God - at least for four more years. While we must require justice for anyone responsible for election fraud, we must also, as our Lord commands us, pray for these people - for their conversion - and for all souls currently on a course to eternal damnation - as Jesus prayed on the cross and as did Steven at his stoning. This is required by Jesus in the gospels and embedded in the Lord's prayer that he gave to us. If we pray for the resounding defeat of America's enemies, both those within her and those outside, coupled with prayers for the conversion and salvation of those who are either in the grip of Satan or blinded by their personal greed for money and power, God will save our nation as the land of the free and the home of the brave. Don't lose hope! Fight! Have faith in God!

Prayers For Our Nation

God our Father, Giver of life,
we entrust the United States of America to Your loving care.
You are the rock on which this nation was founded.
You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Reclaim this land for Your glory and dwell among Your people. Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation's leaders.
Open their minds to the great worth of human life
and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Remind Your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will.
Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, Patroness of our land,
grant us the courage to reject the "culture of death." Lead us into a new millennium of life.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord.

5 Points of Prayer - Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann

* Eagle Forum has been "leading the pro-family movement since 1972".

Pray The Vote ,  a website by the ministry of the Presidential Prayer Team, is activated in each election year and will be activated in 2022.
This website provides daily prayers, stating: "Perhaps now more than any other time in our 244-year history, America is teetering on a precipice. Over the last few months we have seen chaos and unrest turn friend against friend and split families apart. These deep divisions are trying to take our focus away from God’s truth.
What can you do? Pray. Intercede for America and its leaders. Each prayer adds more threads to a great magnificent prayer blanket to cover the nation. Seek God’s provision and guidance over the United States, every state and county, every city, every church, every home and every polling place this election season. God can heal the hearts of this great nation, we have but to ask."
"Pray The Vote" gives us these good suggestions for our prayer:
  • Pray for those in authority over us to deal in truth and with moral clarity.
  • Pray for wisdom for the president as he appoints judges to fill federal court vacancies.
  • For safety for election workers and those who will be going to the polls to vote.
  • Pray for those in federal and local government who establish our laws and policies.
  • Pray for our law enforcement people to be wise in their actions as they work to keep the peace and enforce the law.
  • Pray for cooperation between states and the federal government when it comes to enforcing national laws.
  • Pray for national leaders and for Americans to have the courage to speak out at the right times and in the right manner when we see injustice.
  • Pray for those who have yet to vote as they look at the issues of today, judicial appointments, and laws as they consider candidates for office on the federal, state, and local levels.
Prayer for The United States of America
Composed by His Excellency Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò
Almighty and Eternal God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords: graciously turn your gaze to us who invoke You with confidence.
Bless us, citizens of the United States of America; grant peace and prosperity to our Nation; illuminate those who govern us so that they may commit themselves to the common good, in respect for Your holy Law.
Protect those who, defending the inviolable principles of the Natural Law and Your Commandments, must face the repeated assaults of the Enemy of the human race.
Keep in the hearts of Your children courage for the truth, love for virtue and perseverance in the midst of trials.
Make our families grow in the example that Our Lord has given us, together with His Most Holy Mother and Saint Joseph in the home of Nazareth; give to our fathers and mothers the gift of Strength, to educate wisely the children with which you have blessed them.
Give courage to those who, in spiritual combat, fight the good fight as soldiers of Christ against the furious forces of the children of darkness.
Keep each one of us, O Lord, in your Most Sacred Heart, and above all He whom Your Providence has placed at the head of our Nation.
Bless the President of the United States of America, so that aware of his responsibility and his duties, he may be a knight of justice, a defender of the oppressed, a firm bulwark against Your enemies, and a proud supporter of the children of light.
Place the United States of America and the whole world under the mantle of the Queen of Victories, our Unconquered Leader in battle, the Immaculate Conception. It is thanks to her, and through your Mercy, that the hymn of praise rises to you, O Lord, from the children whom you have redeemed in the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
A Prayer For The Unborn
Heavenly Father, in Your love for us, protect against the wickedness of the devil, those helpless little ones to whom
You have given the gift of life.
Touch with pity the hearts of those women pregnant
in our world today who are not thinking of motherhood.
Help them to see that the child they carry is made in Your image, as well as theirs, made for eternal life.
Dispel their fear of selfishness
and give them true womanly hearts to love their babies
and give them birth
and all the needed care that a mother can give.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Our Lord
Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever.
(Authored by Father Angelus Shaughnessy, Order of Friars Minor, Capuchin)
Prayer For The Unborn Child
(Adapted from Pope Saint John Paul II's homily of October 7, 1979)
Almighty God, our Father, you who have given us life
and intended us to have it forever, grant us your blessings.
Enlighten our minds to an awareness and to a renewed conviction
that all human life is sacred because it is created
in your image and likeness. Help us to teach by word and the example of our lives
that life occupies the first place, that human life is precious because it is the gift of God whose love is infinite.
Give us the strength to defend human life against every influence
or action that threatens or weakens it, as well as the strength
to make every life more human in all its aspects.
Give us the grace...
When the sacredness of life before birth is attacked,
to stand up and proclaim
that no one ever has the authority to destroy unborn life.
When a child is described as a burden or is looked upon only as a means
to satisfy an emotional need, to stand up
and insist that every child is a unique and unrepeatable gift of God,
a gift of God
with a right to a loving and united family.
When the institution of marriage  is abandoned to human selfishness
or reduced to a temporary conditional arrangement that can easily be terminated,
to stand up and affirm
the indissolubility of the marriage bond.
When the value of the family is threatened because of social and economic pressure, to stand up and reaffirm
that the family is necessary
not only for the private good of every person, but also for the common good of every society, nation and state.
When freedom is used to dominate the weak, to squander natural resources and energy,
to deny basic necessities to people, to stand up and affirm
the demands of justice and social love.
Almighty Father,
give us courage to proclaim the supreme dignity of all human life and to demand
that society itself give its protection. We ask this in your name,
through the redemptive act
of your Son and in the Holy Spirit.
